origin: This song was totally inspired by Cowboy Bepop. Simbarashe was a huge fan after seeing the movie, and proceded to locate all the songs from the film and series (the soundtrack is not sold in the U.S.) The song has the feel of Radiohead's "National Anthem", but the odd time signature is an homage to "Kissing the Sky" by The Seatbelts.
fun fact: In the songs final climax, the voice you hear is Claire, the voice of Sprint PCS's voice mailbox. Simbarashe ran the signal of his cell phone through the pickup of his electric guitar. The clicking sound is his signature dolphonic
