Recording Concludes for Sandia.Tonight Sandia is to wrap up recording at Antonio's new house. There's a few spot things to be done, here and there, and I hope to have it all captured before we're done. We have 5 and a half, ehm, six songs that will go on the first scratch EP. I'll spend some time mixing and EQ'ing it all; we plan to give a copy to the fans who come out to our first headling show on October 8th. The week prior, we're playing a warm up gig in San Carlos that should be a much more casual-like affair.

New SessionsSandia started recording this past Wednesday at the Music Depot. Antonio put down some decent drum tracks for five songs; after the other instruments are put on I may opt to have him redo some of the initial ones over before moving forward. Tomorrow is guitar and vocals day; Got the mics to work just the way I like, so all should be well with a 4-6 hour work day. Jake is amped; Norah decided to roll down to the sessions if she is in town.
