bad news for people who like bad news

'A Life in the Heights' was lost this past weekend due to a virus. The album survived intact, but the mixes were all lost. This means that it cannot be released commercially in its finished form unless it is rerecorded. While the camp determines if and when this may be possible, Simsploitation will continue as planned this summer.

It's quite possible that mp3s of the 'Heights' album will go up online this summer as well. You can tell us what you think by emailing us here.

Things go round and round and round...

the battle continues

reinstalled Windows over the corrupted drive. Still no information. The only recourse I then have is to uplink my backup hard disk and gut all of the registry folders. If that doesn't work, I'm going to have a LOT of multimedia lost.

This has a direct impact on when those acoustic songs can be uploaded.

Virusware

My computer crashed a couple of nights ago. I was in the process of cleaning out a Trojan Virus when I removed something that had inexplicably attached itself to the Windows Directory. So I've got to reinstall windows. While I'm at it though, I may as well upgrade it, right? I suppose now's a better time than any. And also a better time to go ahead and install a better anti-virus wall as well. Does this sound like I've got all of my underwear out to dry? You can be the judge of all that.

Everybody Hates Donica Pine is completed in it's first draft form. I'm currently in the process of proofing the grammar. Once that's completed it shall go off to a nifty editor for real butchering. Let's hope it's all worth the bloody trouble. Raise your hands twice if you smell that air under your nose...

Hiroko is back on HQ since the internal issues with Lycos Inc. have been resolved. Nothing too bitter, I promise. In the future I promise that we'll alert you should anybody need to abandon ship (and why the hell is this going into the journal? You don't care!)

If anybody sees Alex, pull her hair for me.

June

Life in a journal. Wonder what to talk about. Wonder who to talk about. Life is peachy.
